Japanese 15/0 Galvanized Seed Beads: Galvanized beads have a metal plating that is applied to the surface of the bead, now replaced by the more durable Duracoat Galvanized finish. Seed beads are only galvanized when the color that is required cannot be created using another method.

Galvanized seed beads should be avoided when possible, as the finish may rub off with wear or during the manufacturing process. All of our galvanized seed beads will have a “Galv” or “Galvanized” in the description for easy identification.

Japanese seed beads are considered to be the world standard for their high quality, brilliance, and uniform shape.
